The delegation was led by Board Chair Mr. Aaron Weagar alongside Managing Director Mr. Amos Tweh, Deputy Managing Director for Administration Mr. Jacob Smith, Deputy Managing Director for Operations Mr. Eric Sayee, Financial Comptroller Mr. Soko, and members of the Board.

During the meeting, the LPRC leadership presented the Company’s First Quarter 2026 Performance Report and 2025 Annual Report, highlighting operational achievements, financial performance, and ongoing efforts to strengthen Liberia’s petroleum storage and distribution infrastructure.

The delegation also briefed President Boakai on the proposed 50,000 Metric Ton Tank Farm Project, a major strategic investment aimed at expanding the country’s petroleum storage capacity, enhancing energy security, and supporting national economic growth.

President Boakai commended the Board and Management Team for their commitment to transparency, accountability, and institutional performance. He emphasized the importance of ensuring a reliable and sustainable petroleum sector that contributes meaningfully to Liberia’s development agenda.

The President further encouraged the LPRC leadership to continue pursuing initiatives that improve operational efficiency, strengthen public confidence, and position the Company as a key driver of national progress.

The meeting forms part of the Administration’s ongoing engagement with state-owned enterprises to monitor performance, promote good governance, and align institutional priorities with the Government’s broader development objectives.
