EGP Onboarding of 50Macs

PPCC advances digital procurement with 50 MACS onboarding

The Public Procurement and Concessions Commission (PPCC) continues its mission to digitize public procurement processes through the Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) platform, with training currently underway for the onboarding of 50 Ministries, Agencies, and Commissions (MACs) by early next year.

This marks another bold step toward strengthening transparency, accountability, and efficiency in how public funds are managed. The e-GP platform eliminates the long manual procedures that once characterized public procurement, allowing institutions to advertise tenders, submit bids, evaluate, and award contracts all online with real-time visibility and reduced human interference.

Through this system, vendors and contractors can now participate from anywhere, promoting fair competition and equal opportunities for all. It also ensures that procurement data and contract information are easily traceable, fostering public trust and supporting Liberia’s broader digital-governance goals.

The onboarding of these 50 MACs demonstrates PPCC’s unwavering commitment to building a transparent, technology-driven procurement environment, one that empowers institutions, strengthens service delivery, and safeguards public resources.
