Consistent with its strategy to convey the importance of adherence to the PPCA to newly appointed and elected officials, as well as to prevent lack of understanding of rules, regulations and laid down procedures that could consequently undermine the attainment of value for money in the conduct of public procurement, the Public Procurement and Concessions Commission(PPCC), organized a procurement compliance workshop for procuring entities. It was held at the Monrovia City Hall from May 27-June 4, 2019. The attendees included heads of procurement committees of Ministries, Agencies & Autonomous Commissions(MACs), State Owned Enterprises, Assistant Ministers for Administration, Procurement Directors and technicians. The UNDP office in Liberia funded the workshop and it was held on the theme: “Collaborating to Ensure PPCA Compliance to Enhance National Development.”
