P. Teplah Reeves is a lawyer by training and a strong advocate for women rights, social justice and equality. She holds a Master of Laws degree (LL.M) from George Town University Law Center, based in Washington DC, and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law. Cllr. Reeves previously earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business from the University of Liberia and an Associate of Arts (AA) Degree in International Relations and Development, from the Institute of Social Studies, situated in The Hague, Netherland. She is a member of several professional bodies including the Liberia National Bar Association, Association of Female Lawyers of Liberia, Farmers Union Network of Liberia, and Women NGO Secretariat of Liberia (WONGOSOL). Cllr. Reeves currently coordinates activities and operations of a professional legal group, “Women in Law and Development (Wildaf-Liberia)”. She has also served as President of the Association of Female Lawyers of Liberia-a pro women right group involved with advocacy, defense and education of women. She was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Public Procurement and Concessions Commission (PPCC) in December 2018 by the President of Liberia, His Excellency George Manneh Weah.
